Did You Know: A few months into the 2004-05 school year, 44 states have released lists of Title I schools in School Improvement. In the majority of states, many more schools have been identified as in need of improvement than in 2003-04. Also, with an increased School Improvement set aside and a larger Title I appropriation in 2004-05, funding for School Improvement has more than doubled to almost $500 million this year.
