34 ( +1 | -1 ) sorry!Quite plausable you used to play 3.Nc3 it's the Mason Gambit isn't it! After 3..Qh4+ though the king ends up on a horrible sqare (e2 I think, blocking in the bishop). Good descision to start playing the bishops gambit. Don't forget Bobby Fisher claimed to have refuted the kings gambit with 3...d6, but still perservered with 3.Bc4 himself!
24 ( +1 | -1 ) CorrectionSorry, Chris21 was initially right, I did mean the Nf3 gambit.
Anyway, the 3. c6 line appears to be good for white becase he has better develompement and the stronger center. I think black can improve with 4...Nf6 5.Bb3 d5 6. ed cd d4 with a slight white advantage.
